My first thursday, friday and bit of sat.

The next will come later but now im really tired. This is sort of an update. Love u all...

So this was super funny and scary at the same time. I arrived in London on Thursday two days ago, got to Heathrow… ok it’s a shit place as we all know. And then I decided to take the Heathrow express as always, it was good. Notnig was going wrong. Actually I had n place to stay, supposedly at Bob’s but he had sent me a text that he had gone for the day to Amsterdam so he could not give me the keys. There I decided to call Adriana who told me that Aaron, a Bolivian friend of us in essex was staying at her house and he would be waiting for me. That’s a relief! But he had no telephone so I had to arrive before noon. Ok I was at Paddington at 10 so I has good enough more than two hours. Good enough. I guess. I bloody decided to take a cab, as I was super tired… What happened? There was this guy who was run by so the whole main avenue next to the Thames was closed. I took 2 bloody hours to arrive to this place where at the end, I was asked to pay for £82.33. Bullocks!
There was Aaron, had breakfast and then checked gumtree.com to look for the flat that I would share with Scott the American guy I had met before on FB. Ok. Found it! Sounded perfect! And he said come and visit it now! So I did, this flat with two double bedrooms a nice kitchen and livingroom at the 5th floor of a building which lacks of an elevator. I could live in it. I guess? Nice price…. 140 pounds per week each plus bills, stupendous! (Per person) Bear in mind there is a friend who is paying 400 pounds per week plus bills. But no I am the poor guy. Apparently.

So then, had a glass of wine with Adriana. While feeling I was still in a boat. (I had sailed and windsurfed days before in the Mayan Riviera when holidaying with my parents) Nothing went wrong. I took a taxi with my two bags and headed to Bob’s who was suppose to arrive at 9 PM. Left my stuff there with Paolo, his housemate and had dinner at Mariannnes who lives three blocks away in a sun called West Hampstead- Kilburn. Nice zone. Day has finished.
Next day I went to study a paper that I had to read for York seminary at LSE. Met a friend who resembles Betty la fea, a bit, lol. And met Scott who by the way is more giant than George the giant (Whoever that is). We split, I went to the house to get changed. Not mine, but Bob’s. And headed to Covent Garden to this pub where I was meeting people that I had never seen.

But wait a minute.. how would I recognise them? FB pics? In a world of people? It was bloody funny asking random people if they were part of CEMS. But at last I found them. I got totally wasted! I met Eugen, a german guy from Colonne who has worked in consulting before. Vivian, who really wanted me to pronounce his name properly and was visiting from Louvain in Belgium. Deidre does that ring a bell? Two Indian people who really don’t know what they were doing there. (Not part of the programme). Olivier, a French guy who does not speak a lot but told me he lived in Champs Elissees. Marco, who was as lost as me and is an Italian Bocconi fashionista. (he speaks Spanish as well as Vivian) Lhiang with whom I did not speak a lot. Hector, who is Mexican and comes from the Egade and speaks wit this thick monterrey accent. And Barbara, who comes from Sao Paolo and did not seem excited at all. Well at the end I was knocked! But it was good fun, nice people. And sort of I liked one of them. But more on that later on.

Saturday morning 7 Am. This is me. Guillermo getting ready for a race, 5 km. It is called the Treeathlon and forms part of this NGO who raises money for trees in cities. Greener areas. Yara yara.

(to be continued... im too sleepy)
